Sometimes you meet a couple who are so full of life and love that you just can't help feeling like you've known them forever. Nina and Leon are one of these amazing couples. The Munro Boutique Hotel was the perfect backdrop for their union - it was such a unique and special day, full of love and laughter.

The simple, classic and elegant choice of table decor and florals fitted perfectly with the vibe of The Munro.
An a capella performance with Nina's brother leading the choir was a truly beautiful way to start their ceremony.
After the ceremony it was time to take communion and sign the registry - plus be showered with confetti of course (designating someone to throw the whole bowl is one way to ensure you have enough petals for the shot!).
I love the idea of a "cheese cake" - a great way to double up as your cheese serves as canapés, especially if you're the couple who prefers savoury over sweet.
Top Tip: for nailing the family formal shots and ensuring you have enough time for your couple shoot: allocate a family member or friend who knows both sides of the family to call out the names of everyone required for the group photos. Even better - brief the family beforehand that they'll be needed after the ceremony. Not having to wait for family for the group images makes this portion of the day go much faster for both you and your guests. The quicker you get the formalities out of the way, the quicker you get to celebrate with everyone who's come to celebrate with you.
One of my favourite things about shooting at The Munro is the variety of location options for the couple shoot. Nina and Leon indulged my impulses and were game to go exploring through the hotel and gardens. My only requirement: just don't fall into the pool!
Nina and Leon's reception was a true celebration of what it means to find your perfect match. From the heartfelt speeches to the dance floor moves, I could have stayed and captured moments from this wedding all night.
